v description v

Prairie was commissioned to design a new commercial credit union for Entegra on an urban site on the Disraeli Freeway in Winnipeg. The mandate was to create a sustainable and contemporary structure with a strong image to attract attention to drivers as they pass and to contribute to the revitalization of the Exchange District. The new building is a 6,500 sf structure with a curved prow facing Disraeli Freeway and a highly glazed curved facade at the parking area opening to the Exchange. The interior of the two-storey structure opens into a circular lobby and queuing area with offices on the perimeter. The design of the building followed the LEED green building protocol and was awarded LEED Certified designation.
