This project calls for the long awaited renovation of the University of Saint-Bonifaces’ existing change rooms facilities constructed in 1984 and located within the University’s basement level. The 3,400 s.f. change room new construction and renovation inspired itself upon spa and treatment facilities complete with high end finishes, a contemporary modern feel, and theatrical lighting to emphasize a more rich and relaxing environment. The existing whirlpool tubs, which caused a continued maintenance problem and sanitary concerns, have been replaced with luxurious tiled steam baths complete with a sound system and accent lighting.
client statement
Roger Régnier, Assistant Director: “The new design of our change rooms offers our clientele a Spa-like environment. There is a nice flow with the 3 main areas ( 1- lockers, 2-shower and steam room 3-washroom) that can handle peak times at the facility without seeming overcrowded. Aesthetically, our members are blown away with the look and we couldn't agree more. We are extremely pleased with our new design.”
